wow...what a weekend it was. valentine's, chinese new year, and president's day - besides working all day saturday and sunday. i got a couple of things done.
if you recall, i had mounted the bronze se37k's on my car to see if running an 17x8.5 +45 wheel with a 255/40 tire would clear. i have since gotten my wheels powdercoated and mounted a fresh set of federal 595 rs-r tires.
all i can say is that the car feels AMAZING to drive now. the front of the car does feel a little looser now because everything has been in essence shortened but the driving response on turn in is super direct. i like it. i also did some really minor changes to my car. if you can spot them, you get a cookie.

i slso helped my buddy ben out with his new integra type r. he traded his '00 s2000 for this car straight across and he was having issues with overheating. i pulled the thermostat and boiled it to see if it was opening, just to be on the safe side. it did open and turns out he was low about a gallon of coolant. so, problem solved.

today, with the day off. i headed over to evasive motorsports for an alignment. i dropped the car off and literally walked around the block to my friend toan's shop. http://www.renn-spec.com/
toan just recently got back from buttonwillow raceway and his car is still in track form.

going off road caused him to crack his rear diffuser

here are some pics i took from around the shop. since it was a bit slow, i helped with doing some spring cleaning.
